Rabbi Ginsburgh responds to the Israeli governments call to dismantle Jewish settlements

It is Forbidden to Relinquish any Part of the Land of Israel

1. The ultimate goal of the redemption from Egypt was: "And I will take you to Me as a nation… and I will bring you to the land." The nation of Israel must live in the Land of Israel according to the Torah of Israel.
2. No organization or government has the authority to negotiate with non-Jews over the rights to the Land of Israel. The Land of Israel was given to the nation of Israel by the God of Israel as an eternal inheritance, as written in the Torah. Any agreement which includes relinquishing parts of the land to non-Jews is null and void in its very essence.
3. Even speaking of giving parts of the Land of Israel to non-Jews--not to mention actually relinquishing parts of the Land, God forbid--endangers Jewish lives. Any person who assists in or supports giving up parts of the Land has a part in the shedding of Jewish blood, God forbid. 
4. Any attempt to uproot a settlement in the land of Israel and to relinquish the land to non-Jews is tantamount to murder, adultery and idol worship.

• Murder, because relinquishing land in Israel empowers our enemies to continue to kill.
• Adultery, because giving a non Jew possession of the land corrupts the sacred bond of faithfulness between Israel and the Land.
• Idol Worship, because relinquishing the land to non Jews is a negation of God and His Torah.

Our Torah is the Torah of loving-kindness, pleasantness and wholeness. Transgression of the Torah flaws the wholeness sought after by all the world. Any harm done to the wholeness of the Land of Israel is an injustice not only to the nation of Israel, but to all the nations. It corrupts the welfare and wholeness of the entire world.

We call upon every Jew--citizen, soldier or policeman--not to participate in any act that brings harm to the Jewish nation!
