A:  It is definitely possible that a natural sense of affinity to the hidden realms of the Torah reflects the consciousness of previous gilgulim (reincarnations). In general, our generation possesses an affinity to the inner dimension of the Torah, as this pertains to the light that will be revealed by Mashiach. We are ready, and beginning to taste the sweet taste of the future. Thus, those souls that are most connected to the future love and naturally understand Kabbalah and Chassidut.
