Real Estate Investment in Bad Neighborhood?

Q: I have a business offer to buy a building in a somewhat problematic neighborhood, with a reputation for crime and difficult circumstances. The price is right and will allow me to fully remodel the building and raise the standard of living so that we can bring in better tenants. What is the Rav’s advice?

A: It is worthwhile to invest in something more solid – “The crown of a good name (in every area) supersedes other factors.”
