Q: For the past two years, I have been having problems with my eyes. The doctors are not sure why this is happening and are searching for solutions. In addition to the medical aspect, is there a spiritual rectification on which I can focus?
A: In the Book of Formation it is written that the right eye corresponds to the Hebrew letter beit (see here) and the left eye corresponds to the Hebrew letter kaf (see here ). Study the secret of these two letters in our book, “The Hebrew Letters.” And of course, pray to God to send you complete healing for your eyes.
It is particularly recommended to pray for your eyes when the Shabbat candles are being lit, with deep contemplation on the flames. The same applies to the Chanukah candles. In addition, try to look at every person with a good, loving eye.
